Dr Lois M E Sproat MB ChB, DRCOG

Graduated in Dundee in 1976. I gained hospital experience in Dundee and Harrogate before moving to Castle Douglas where I completed my training in Dumfries, working in Obstetrics & Gynaecology, Psychiatry, Accident & Emergency and General Medicine.  I became a partner in 1984 and since then have also worked in  Casualty in Dumfries and developed my interest in gynaecological problems, family planning, sexual health, management of drug related problems and osteoporosis.  I am the GP representative on the Osteoporosis Working Group for Dumfries and Galloway.  I have completed training courses in Acupuncture and offer this to patients in the practice with musculo-skeletal problems.
